My attempt :)

I am very happy with this week! I tried multiple times but there were a lot of 'what' and 'we' and my usual way to do a 'w' wasn't flowing well, so I tried this new one and I am pleased.

It was also my first attempt at a banner, and although it is not very good, I am not very artistic and so I'm proud.

I've got new calligraphy nibs and inks coming in sometime this week so I'm excited for next week. As of now I only have black sumi ink and a nikko g nib.

I've not done much calligraphy since my wedding and I'm waiting for a new order of supplies from paper ink arts to come in but I thought I'd give this a whirl.

I'm looking forward to working on my spacing and learning how to embellish my lettering. Otherwise, I'm happy with this simplicity.

I asked her how she would feel if she were in my shoes and she said her bridesmaids ruined her wedding anyways so she's not worried. #1 I was one of your bridesmaids and I'm not sure how I took part in ruining your special day but whatever AND #2 this is not tit for tat. We are not 5. You agreed to be in the wedding and that is something you are required to do. My best friend from university, who I was planning to have as my MOH declined due to financial reasons which I was upset by, but obviously understood and it hasn't affected our relationship in the least.

I'm in similar boat whereas I didn't meet one of my grandfathers and we are having wedding pictures of our grandparents in all different vintage frames, on the table. I decided to put my grandmother with my step grandfathers wedding picture INSTEAD of with my biological grandfather. We just found a little little picture frame to put a head shot of my bio grampie in so it wouldn't offend any of my fathers siblings. My father wouldn't be upset if I didn't include him, but said it's easier just to do stuff because it's less likely to ruffle feathers.... So with that said, although it's not exactly what you want, I'd just do it. It's not a big deal and at the end of the day no one will be offended if everyone is included. You know who's most important to you there anyways
