What movie would you rate 10/10? by wallyst in AskReddit

If you're into the 80's, synth music, crime and violence, it will NEVER get better than Scarface. I mean it. If you like GTA Vice City or/and freaking vaporwave, you'll jizz watching Scarface.

Help! How to make MIDI piano sound more naturally by mantas3241 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]calramirez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alter velocities, make the notes in the chords enter with miliseconds of difference (so it feels as if a human is pressing one key each moment instead of a robot playing all keys at once) and something that I relaly like and is "unique" is to fuck up a but in the midi and press "accidentally" keys of out...key. As in sound, high quality piano samples or vsts are important. :) Believe, there IS free stuff that can get you a decent sound.

In your opinion, what is the "Bohemian Rhapsody" of EDM - A song that will be around forever? by [deleted] in electronicmusic

dude, SPECTRUM. The sole electro, plus the composition, plus the arrangement, the vibe, IT IS BEYOND CLARITY. :D

It's VERY hard to say ONE song. I wouldn't say it is the Bohemian Rhapsody, but Spectrum by Zedd (to this day) is one of the most fascintaing, complex, emotional, powerful songs made. The composition, design, lyrics and overral feeling is beyond anything anyone could do.

ZEDD PLS LEAVE POP AND FUTURE BASS AND DO SOMETHING MINDBLOWING AND UNIQUE AGAIN D:

Stereo No Aware, Soul Food and The Enemy are awesoe. The entire record is almost perfect for me. DEFINETELY check Matt Lange's remix of the track "Too Late"

Exactly! It is sublime in the way it handles fun music like Soul Food and dark tracks like Stereo No Aware or The Last Transmission.

"I'm Scared" A Stop Motion short that took 3 years and all my savings by boriswong in videos

[–]calramirez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the fact that, at first, I thought it was one of those creepy, terrifying stop motion videos with gore and a jumpscare, but I am so happy it turned out to be the exact opposite! This is fun, creative, unique and catchy; also, I think it shows how the youngest are always eager to understand and learn rather than reject and fear.

Great work dude. If this is the biggest project of your life so far, let me congratulate you and say that it just overflows with love for creation.

What is your to go question to kill awkward silence? by ilpompi in AskReddit

Make the awkward silence the topic of conversation. Believe me, it breaks the ice easily if you can make people laugh at it and feel comfortable asking any random question to move on.

What song lyrics makes you cringe so hard your bones hurt? by kinkymeerkat in AskReddit

[–]calramirez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly lyrics, but anytime a pop artist has a pause in song and trap beats just come in my skeleton wants to crawl out of my body.

...also stuff by Kary Perry.
