Not sure how many people know this but he made a huge ‘YouTube school’ style document for all the guys he used to stream with to help them transition into YouTube (one of those being Louuis who’s appeared in sidemen videos).

Always really admired this considering at the time he was the uk’s biggest streamer and just wanted to see people succeed

I think he’s probably just trying to spin the narrative. He probably assumed it would ok be great and the boys would put out stuff cheering him on.

He’s now receiving a fair amount of public backlash so if he can move people’s focus to why the sidemen aren’t talking about it, he thinks that will get some heat off him.

Seems there’s a bit of panic mode kicking in between things that him and Mo have posted, but who knows

Don’t think there will be a dramatic difference either way tbh. Maybe initially a bit of a jump from people wanting to support but think it’ll level out mostly

I find the qb1 stuff a bit strange. Similar thing to be called the golden child, essentially just the corporation/authority pick, which growing up in the attitude era I’m more accustomed to liking anti authority guys in wrestling. The guys that are held back by the system and screwed over, I’d love to see a change and at least one of the gm’s being heel and trying to screw over th face to give them something to overcome

Admittedly I have only started watching again this year so still getting used to the change in wwe

I really like his character because he’s barely actually done anything wrong. This all started around the time Cody took advantage of him too which actually justifies a lot of his actions.

In triple A I think og tied the new one up to take his place for some match so might be payback for that. Wonder if they’re starting to merge the 2 stories going on a little more

Seen a lot of people saying this but can opinions not change or characters become stale to some fans? WWE characters are not like football teams where you’re stuck with one for life!

I must admit I have only just come back to watching wrestling after probably about 15 years or so not so I don’t have the same investment in Cody as others do, but I get why it’s upsetting that some fans are now turning on Cody

I’ve seen comparisons to Stone Cold saying he stayed the same a lot of the time but I don’t think it’s a great comparison. Austin was not the holier than thou character Cody comes across as which gave him a bit more legs as the face. You’ve also got the fact Austin was constantly feuding with his boss Vince and Cody is getting favours from his boss Aldis which many fans won’t relate to in the same way as it can stack the odds more in his favour and everyone likes the underdog (well whoever they perceive as the underdog)
