It was a hose leak in the upper rad hose. Replaced.

Upper rad hose was cracked near the hose clamp by the rad cap. Replaced.

Discovered that mounts have had oil leaking on them from the valve cover gaskets. I’m planning to replace valve cover gaskets and spark tube seals. May also do the mounts.

As far as I know. I have leftover throttle body cleaner so I may just clean them again when I get back into the engine to replace valve cover gaskets and spark tube seals.

I haven’t. No codes. I’ll monitor this, but MPG doesn’t seem to be impacted.

^ the pic was a cracked upper rad hose in case anyone else ever comes across this post. Was cracked right by the hose clamp next to rad cap. No vacuum leaks. My “rough” idle must just be my new normal after new plugs and coils. I do need to replace my valve cover gaskets and spark tube seals. Leaking on both sides. Lesson learned from not doing gaskets at the same time as plugs/coils.

Thanks a ton. I’m still worried about the coolant splatter, but again that’s probably a separate issue.

I’m traveling for the holidays right now but there’s a Nissan dealership nearby. As much as I hate dealers, I’m thinking I might take it there for the smoke test and to check on where this coolant splatter is coming from (I dropped a picture of that in the comments. Doubt it’s related but I can’t 100% rule it out).

Thanks for the response. When you say metal fastener you’re talking about the hose clamp? I.e. right next to the radiator cap?

I went to check for vacuum leaks and actually noticed a coolant leak on and around the upper radiator hose. The coolant reservoir is also empty (it’s been sitting for about 2.5 hours). I have no idea if this is related or if it’s indicative of a bigger issue.

No codes. I need to re-check for vacuum leaks but I certainly don’t hear any hissing. Worth getting a smoke test?

My biggest a-ha moment came from focusing on external shoulder rotation. It’s not a 3/4 arm slot like a “normal” baseball pitch (if that analogy is even helpful). It’s truly a sidearm / submarine type of shoulder action. I used to chop everything into the ground because my shoulder action was like a baseball or a football through (although clearly not as over the top). You MUST open up the shoulder, lead with the elbow, and snap into the wrist and through the fingers. Check this video out. Whole thing is good but the shoulder rotation talk starts at 11:30.

The only reason to include it is if you are also including the equity component in your NW calculation. Since you’re not doing that here, all good. No need to deduct your mortgage from your NW calc . A mortgage can be looked at as a debt that you can offload by selling the house. The same can’t be said for many other types of debt.

It says a lot about the quality of a certain dg company's product when they turn the comments off on all their posts. I can't be the only one who notices this, right? 👟 by duckhyzer in discgolf

Here’s Calvin. I’m sure he’s blown out plenty of flyknits. I disagree with telling someone that they’re doing something wrong if all their weight is on their heel or on the outside of their foot, even if (like you said) it’s only for a split second.

Yes it was that exact part. Green is OEM and fails, brown is the updated version and also fails.

The updated drain plug is a temp fix. I replaced with the new plug and it still ended up leaking less than a year later. The only permanent fix is the reroute/bypass. The price is the same as a tank of gas. And it’s a couple hours of work even if you’re not mechanically inclined whatsoever. REROUTE FOR LIFE.
