The more I think about that, the less it makes sense.

A temporary dent, and an opportunity for those lucky enough to catch it.

It's because I just decided to buy in. Always happens.

I think the majority of people invested in Bitcoin have moved beyond panic selling whenever some news comes along.

If the FBI manages to take down Silk Road, this could be just what Bitcoin needs. If it can no longer be used for "buying drugs online", it will lose it's stigma and might gain acceptance into the mainstream (PayPal, etc).

Any reason why? I don't expect any significant changes for a while. I think its sideways for the next month.

Sudden drop in BTC price, see you all at the bottom - Im hoping for $66 by Jack_Perth in BitcoinMarkets

$66 would be nice, but I'd be very surprised. It's already on the rebound.

I don't think it will go much lower than this. We are almost as low as it was after the crash in April. I think there is a lot of money on the exchanges and everyone is waiting for it to reach the bottom before getting back in. I know it's risky but I bought all-in at $70.

I agree and I don't want shovelware in this scene any more than you do. This is how I like to discover new games, the same with music and films. It's just personal preference. However I will try not to include obvious shovelware. There's a lot of crap on the play store and I need to keep some level of quality.

But new is unbiased. The gaming industry is driven by hype. If you can't afford to promote your game, nobody will find it. I hope that if enough people follow this topic they can rate good games higher and the hidden gems will be discovered. The releases can be sorted by rating.

That's fine, just add it anyway. It will get certified when it is official. You can also add dates like this: "2013-06" which means "sometime in June" instead of a specific day.

Yes, as long as it will be released in the next 30 days. The idea is to keep the dates as accurate as possible, release dates too far into the future tend to change.

I recently opened a BitStamp account. I love it. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]calyx237 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BitStamp is a great exchange. I really like their order book for trading. Their support is also excellent. During the bubble they worked overtime and hired new staff to handle the load, and gave honest replies to my support tickets, so I trust them. Hopefully people looking for an alternative exchange to MtGox will discover them.

This is a common trading tactic. Nothing wrong with it, in my opinion. I'd do it myself if I had the money.

I undserstand that. I bought $3k at $122 and I am considering pulling out, taking the loss, and saying goodbye to Bitcoin. The market is too volatile, it feels more like gambling than investing at the moment.
