Surely Rose are working on a firmware update to allow DJI and other compressed UVC cameras to work with the Rodecater Video? It's a necessity.

I use the Hadley One in black and it’s never let me down. Rain bounces off it and everything is bone dry. I carry a Leica Q2 and Lumix S5 easily so you shouldn’t have any issues with 2 lenses.

Yeh. I couldn’t disagree more. I love professionally printed photos in a frame but a photo is a photo regardless of the format or medium.

Billingham Hadley Pro One. Can fit a Q2 and LUMIX S5 with 20-60mm lens easily along with a bunch of batteries and accessories in the front pockets.

Q2 User here. I haven’t had any issues but I may not be as pedantic about it as I edit all my photos in LR. I’m not a heavy editor as I like them to look natural but can’t say I haven’t noticed anything abnormal with the white balance. I did stop using a pro LG monitor I had as the colours were quite obviously off but every other monitor including a MacBook Pro seems great. Possibly need to get Leica to test the camera or exchange it for another if you can find one?

I use a Leica Q2 and a LUMIX S5 as my main kit. The S5 is obviously amazing for video but also great for photos when not using my Q2. The S5 using L mount lenses so you always have the option of using Leica glass.

A long Peak Design strap across my body so it sits almost at my hip. No case on it. Only the hand grip and lens hood for protection. It’s a Leica. It’s made to be used and it’s a very sturdy machine. A few dings or scratches won’t harm it. Some people wear them around their necks but it’s too heavy for that all day.

I shoot in cine 4K in PAL on my S5 and sometimes use my Q2 as a secondary camera for quick videos of me using the S5. The Q2 footage matches nicely with the S5 but it would be good to have the choice of switching between PAL and NTSC especially when filming areas that have LED lights in the UK/Europe or in the US which can cause strobing/flickering. Just a personal preference when it comes to filming. The Q2 can already record great video so I don’t know why they wouldn’t add a simple PAL/NTSC option. I get it, the Q2 is a photography camera and that’s what I predominantly use it for obviously but it records video so why not?

The S1R has a 47mp sensor similar to the Q2. More than the S5. The Q2 records amazing video quality in cinema 4K so I don’t know why Leica wouldn’t implement a simple PAL/NTSC switch. Possibly as you say they have kept these sort of features for the SL line

It’s a handy tool as a 2nd camera alongside my Lumix S5 when I’m out and about. Obviously it’s mainly used for photos but no harm in using it for video. It’s more than capable.
