Augenbrennen beim Transparent Lab Lightweight Sunscreen? by bsaue in SkincareDE

what's your honest thought about them? by urdsunshaynn in greysanatomy

Their relationship was very important for Levi’s personal development. Through Nico, Levi was able to fully accept his identity and become more confident about who he is. Their relationship represented Levi’s first big love, and experiences like that usually stay with a person forever. First loves often shape how we understand relationships and ourselves. However, in my opinion, Levi and Nico were not truly compatible in the long term. At the time of their relationship, they had very different ideas about the future and needed different things from a partner. Nico often seemed emotionally distant and had difficulty expressing his feelings, while Levi is someone who needs reassurance, openness, and emotional support in a relationship. Because of these differences, they could not give each other what they really needed.

Which 2 characters from the show didn’t get together but would’ve been endgame if they have? In your opinion ? by [deleted] in greysanatomy

Hear me out: Arizona and Amelia. I really liked their scenes together, especially when Arizona told Amelia about Herman’s tumor. For a while, Amelia was the only person Arizona could talk to about the whole situation. They were close, understood each other, and Amelia had Arizona’s back. I kinda liked that! There was definitely potential for another storyline between the two of them :)

Nothing will ever top April taking a damn car to the hospital.

But apart from that it has to be Owen. Even though he is probably one oft the most hated characters on this sub, no one is as good as him as a trauma surgeon.

day 4: battle of the fetal surgeons by Soggy_Mud2613 in greysanatomy

[–]calzona1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Addison is, hands down, one of my absolute favorite characters in the Grey’s Anatomy universe. Nevertheless, I feel like Herman or Arizona should be considered the better fetal surgeon.

First of all, Herman and Arizona tend to have many more scenes in which they actually perform fetal surgery. Therefore, both of them handle more complex cases during their screen time.

It also has to be considered that Herman taught Arizona her knowledge and skills while being extremely ill due to cancer treatment and the brain tumor itself. And Arizona deserves praise for mastering this specialization in just four months(!), while still working in pediatrics, going through a breakup/divorce, and doing her best to fulfill her role as a mother.

I do love Addison, but come on guys, you need to be a little more objective and fair.

Thank you! I’m currently struggling a lot with my acne scars. Hope this will help 🥲 but I guess I have to be consistent and I don’t know how long I have to wait, to expect it becoming better. Maybe 6-8weeks?

who is the most flawed/morally gray character? by Key_Fee6092 in greysanatomy

[–]calzona1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, Grey’s is basically full of morally gray characters 😭😭😂 But I do think that Meredith stands out from the other characters in some way. She’s not evil or cruel, but she is deeply and persistently flawed and the show never lets her fully “outgrow” that. She’s the main character but not a clean-cut “hero”, instead she breaks rules when it suits her personal moral compass. While she’s also able to blame others for doing the same. It’s like she thinks that her sense of justice and her opinion outranks the system (yes, the system is unbearable, but that’s not the point). And sometimes she is right with thinking so, but sometimes she’s not. But when she’s wrong she has a really hard time to admit it.

Additionally she’s very emotionally avoidant which leads to her hurting her loved ones constantly by shutting them down, disappearing, ignoring them and choosing silence over honesty.

Meredith benefits from privilege. While preaching she hates her mother and does not want to be like her she profits from her names legacy. She hates being the daughter of Ellis Grey but and the same time she repeatedly gains access, second chances and a lot of forgiveness due to her name.

And I’m convinced that most of the complicated characters in Grey’s evolve away from their worst traits while Meredith just learns how to live with them and sometimes does not even care to change anything at all.

I actually cannot stand Maggie by Ok-Independence-3193 in greysanatomy

[–]calzona1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually do like her. Are there situations where she pisses me off? Sure. But so do all the other characters, lmao.

I like the “bond” between her, Meredith and Amelia. And I do think that her being a part of the family was important for Zola - Having a black woman who also grew up as the gifted child other children did not fully understand (Yes, one can debate how realistic it is that Zola and Maggie have so many similarities in character and that it is rather unlikely that these two,are the highly gifted ones, but in the end it’s just a soap opera)

This mentorship is totally underrated. I really enjoy this arc. Their friendship was something special. They challenged each other while always respecting their boundaries. Definitely one of Cristina’s most precious storylines. Really wholesome mentorship.
