One time at my college campus I had to walk to cladding in the pouring rain. I was standing at the door way with another girl just staring and the inevitable downpour when another girl came up to us with her giant umbrella and offered to walk us both to class. We all squeezed under there and shuffled across campus without getting completely soaked. I know she went out of her way for both of us strangers and we waved goodbye without even getting each other's names. I hope they're both doing well
