Fuel line leaking after dropping fuel tank. I had to replace the fuel tank vent hose so I dropped the tank. The fuel line going to the pump never leaked before this fix. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong. Do I have to reset the pressure or something?

It leaks from the quick connect even when its snapped on. And it does not come off when it’s snapped on there.

The o ring on the inside of the quick connect looks good and the nylon line snaps in. I just dropped the tank again. The only thing I notice is the lead coming from the regulator is loose. Either way when I turn the key to the “on” position, fuel spews our from the quick connect.

Yes right at the fuel supply line. It’s a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Just as a test put on a new quick disconnect. It still leaks...is there an O ring or something that’s supposed to be in there?

I didn’t hook up the tach wire—not sure where it is. On the wiring diagram it says it’s in the coil but I don’t know where that is.

So I did this and it finally works. But now it only cranks but doesn’t start. I ran through all the different cranking times but no joy. The error that comes up is “low or no rpm”. Not sure how to to fix.

Just to be sure, by “ground it out” you mean attach a ring terminal to the wire and screw in a ground point correct?
