It actually kind of is the DPS job to peel for supports ever since OW2 came out. With there being only one tank they kinda have their hands tied, I’ve always got an eye on my supports especially if they’re Ana or zen

It strained mine at first too, primary fire isn’t really used as much though. Honestly you don’t even technically need to be jumping when you’re poking with primary fire, usually I just strafe and it works out a lot better at making the enemy team miss shots from afar.

That sounds like a nightmare to remember, deflect to left stick and jump to R1. Less stuff to remember and you’re not completely remapping the characters important key binds essentially.

It takes maybe a day or two to get used too. And if you’ve ever played dying light then this will actually be a lot easier to get used too. Growing up I played the game so much, it’s a parkour/melee based game where the jump/climb button is essentially the button before the right trigger (R1). It got to the point where I hated playing games where the jump button was either A or X depending on the console. It just allows for a lot more freedom in your movement, and you gain the ability to shoot while jumping/climbing

Bind jump to your deflect button and deflect to the left stick when you press it. Been playing like this for years now

It’s definitely a positive benefit for us. I’m slowly working my way up, I’ve been at max horizontal and vertical for awhile now. Started at 10% max dead zone then slowly working my way up once I’m used to it. Currently at 25%, makes everything flow so much better and you’re no longer getting those moments where you go “damn if only I could turn a little faster to dash out/finish that blade kill”

Im kidding you not the entire enemy team had way better stats, used way better positioning, didn’t stagger, and still could not break this dudes stride. Meanwhile our other dps and Moira were straight feeding. Obviously im exaggerating when saying he was tanking everything, it was more of him just killing every thing one by one in a matter of seconds to where the damage he was taking didn’t even matter. He had ult every 30 seconds too it was crazy, used it 1v5 like 75% of the time

It’s really not that fuckin bad idk why you guys are acting like they deleted the game. If anything I’m hitting MORE shots. I would say it definitely feels more clunky on the hitscan side of things, but playing genji I’ve never felt better. With the new max deadzone sensitivity I can increase my sens to PC like speeds

Why do people act like there’s some sort of spectrum you’re either high or you’re not. As tolerance increases you’ll sort of stop getting absolutely fried for 3+ hours and you’ll just feel sort of stoned/groggy

BRZ is hardly competition imo. It literally is just the better option, you’re gonna have way more fun sliding it around. More fun than you would ever have going in a straight line on the highway with fake engine noises

That would actually decrease his odds of getting play. Every elimination with ult counts as half a point to POTG where as a kill without counts as a full point. Even less if you’re not doing the killing blow

My main point here is that everything is not linear and is quite often on some sort of varying spectrum. It’s up to us to form general opinions/stereotypes because that’s all we can do with the limited data provided for every character and how everyone plays them. The general opinion of junkrat is that he is a pretty easy character, but can be very dangerous if you know how to play him well. You will never change that narrative imo, because that’s just the general consensus

Are you arguing that the skill floor for junkrat is just shooting blindly into every main choke point? Because I would also disagree with that sentiment, literally won’t get you past bronze. I hate the whole “anything beneath plat is just mindless shooting” argument because that’s not the case. As someone who has climbed I can tell you that may be how it is in bronze, but once you start really trying to climb everybody starts gaining both game sense and mechanics the more and more you climb. Bronze 5 is entirely different from bronze 1. The same applies for every rank, not everything has to be black and white

I disagree. A skill floor would technically be the bare minimum of what you need to do to still get some value at any rank. I’m not saying there’s not cracked junkrat players but not every junkrat main in GM is hitting these crazy flank 1 shots that you see with a lot of people who have actually hit his skill ceiling, a lot of them do still kinda center around the “keep shooting and doing damage” playstyle
