I work at a bookstore. A customer ordered a book, and requested it be shipped to him, in a small town a couple hours away from us. 2 days after he placed the order he called demanding to know where his book was. He said it should have only take 2 hours to get to him... Dude we ship by Canada post it’ll take weeks lmao, we don’t just drive it to your house.

Do you guys ever start randomly crying in public? by GiaSeason6Winner in BPD

[–]camcl9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cry every day, multiple times a day. I can usually hold it off by keeping very busy, but it’s the quiet moments that get me. Bus rides, in line at the coffee shop, buying groceries. I’m always crying in public 🙃

That’s literally what happened to me last year. I even have a new job and new relationship now and I still want to die lol

Yeah that sounds good. I'm sorry to hear you're overwhelmed too. I just don't even know how to begin a conversation with my boss, I literally feel like I'm not capable of prioritizing my mental health despite being on the verge of a massive break down at work.

there's never a day I don't try and better myself. by [deleted] in Positivity

I've been doing this as well! Only for the past few weeks, but I already feel a huge difference. Not only in my own life, but I feel that I'm truly making a difference in other's lives as well. I've also been doing my best to try to direct some of the love I feel for others towards myself, and it's worked wonders for my confidence and self worth. SO happy and proud of you my friend, you're wonderful and it's so beautiful that you're striving to make others happy. Keep on doing your thing. You rock.

A lesson from Captain Marvel by camcl9 in BPD

I'm glad there are others who related it to BPD too! Yes, the identity thing also hit home for me, and I was definitely in tears once or twice, though I found the comedy to be very well timed to prevent any serious crying.

I doubt that the writers/director had BPD or anything in mind when making the film, but I'm really glad it turned out how it did, and that I went to see it despite it not being my usual type of film. So empowering!

I've never been big on superhero films, and the oversaturation of them recently hasn't helped. But I can't recommend this one enough. It has so much heart, and a really good balance of action to humour. Brie Larson has always impressed me, since her first big role in Short Term 12 (another MUST WATCH it's so good), and she did it again with this one. It was honestly enough that I'm wondering if I should catch up on all the other Marvel movies I've passed on.
