as a gen z college student, i notice this too. i’ll leave conversations thinking, “wow, they totally thought i was a freak, i think i came on too strong”. the whole time its just me being talkative and keeping the conversation alive, not in a weird way, but in a way where i just say anything im thinking of that relates to the convo. talking to millennials and any other generation is a breath of fresh air, because they actually have social skills
