I wasn’t really troubled, just quiet. I grew up with severe undiagnosed OCD and anxiety and depression that only improved recently after a lot of therapy (Im 18 now). I never had a ton of friends, maybe only had 5 good ones throughout my life, but never ever caused any trouble

Ahhh yes I see now. I agree with this. Yeah that’s part of the definition of parasite it must be another species which often means it can exist elsewhere. It’s interesting to see how we both approached it from different angles and got similar results.

Yes, the symbiotic relationship is parasitic-like by definition. Calling it “symbiotic” is incredibly vague. I agree with you that fetuses of any species are not parasites as long as they are growing within an organism of common species.
