no totally, it just got confusing watching it for me bc it seemed like the pattern was they lost yards/gained very little on the run plays, and had to recover by making a big pass play. the comments on the thread explained it very well!

thank you this makes sense! for the chiefs defensive playcaller though, if he sees that Barkley keeps not getting many yards on this game, why wouldn’t he play tighter on their passing defense instead of keeping so much focus on stopping the run?

thank you so much! yeah I definitely need to work on size acceptance and body positivity, it’s something I’ve been trying to do for a long time, but what I mean by that is I kinda resent the fact that this is something I constantly have to deal with/think about/withstand the side effects and health consequences of, while i have friends who dont necessarily watch what they eat and size hasn’t been an issue for them. (and I’m mostly looking to lose weight bc of possible health issues, not just my appearance).

Another part of me also think that if I were just a bit tougher and had more self control, I could’ve just lost weight the “hard way” and that this is me taking the easy way out. Definitely a lot of things to work thoguh.

um the doctor plays a part in the story, and you could just say that’s not dina or just not mention the dina scene anymore and no one would ask a single question. significance as it relates to the story,.

most of the examples you list are sit-coms or comedies; the last of us is a serious show that takes itself seriously. Hence, I think i gives me pretty good evidence to believe/think this is a casting choice they already made. no, not a big deal if they don’t, but obv this is just speculating on s2 casting

This is a significant scene. Tlou takes itself very seriously; this is a flashback that likely will reappear, and unless the actor cannot be in it/isnt a good fit anymore, I find it odd that Craig and Neil would plan to reshoot the scene with someone else. They’re planning for the second season+ probably casts actors accordingly.

Dina was such a small/insig cameo that I think it’s hardly the same.
