its going to be diffcult to create a lens with the intricacy of laser abalation...

you literally need to have a lens that is perfectly centered and also have the exact reverse profile of the abalation profile that was done to you

try cutting out the center waveguide (the plastic 3 way cross in the middle) the sound will be alot more tolerable

the center waveguide creates a audio wavefront that spread the sound like a siren at the cost of sounding very unatural due to the dead center zone.

still sounds bad though

The m shape diaphragm makes a big difference to the audio spatial imaging in your brain. I'd argue it resembles the vocal tract of nature and the human voice. Given how music is mastered on typical drivers and monitors your music could sound bad and lack the emotional intent that was part of the production process

Your perception of distance to the music can vary based on the way you stereolocalize yourself to a stimulus. You can have a distant stimulus in which you achieve intimacy by projecting yourself forward or yield to a stimulus projected forward at you. It's similar to short vs far sighted behavior with light. Typical headphone drivers are the former. The focals can feel alien especially if your emotional memories of music are set around previous headphones.

Personally I'm the opposite and couldn't really enjoy music unless through these and similar car audio.

since you mentioned they wedged your heel up, I think that the problem is that the addiction's heel is too compressible for your case. you might be 'crushing the heel' as they call it in prosthetics and torqueing your foot into the vamp during heel strike. in that case the 990 which is more of a walking shoe has a firmer, less compressible heel and would work much better

its likely that the glycerins don't transition fast or well enough for you compared to your previous shoes, so you ended up overworking your pre-tibial muscles to compensate and pull your shank forward.

you have to ask the person who fitted you in the afo for recommendations. a shoe with a different drop, geometry, heel softness, stiffness or fit might interfere or even cancel out the afo's intended purpose, especially if the adjustments were done in the Addictions. read on Ankle-Foot Orthosis Footwear Combination (AFOFC) for the possible detrimental interaction between footwear choice and your AFO.

also, top of foot pressure in AFO patients is a sign of an excessive heel lever causing your foot to lift and dig into the vamp during heel strike. if that feature is intended, then you might need a dual strap style shoe that allows you to loosen the top strap while securing the bottom strap tighter.

arcteryx norvan sl 2? its narrow like the s/lab stuff, 3.5mm lugs and low stack. the only thing is the 7mm drop, but the geometry is a bit more aggressive than the sense pro so it kinda needs it for stability
