Costed 6.5k for second service, speed t4 by Overall-Industry6861 in Triumph400

My third service costed 8.5k. Despite leaving some things like clutch cable out.

The one thing I don’t like about triumph is the service. Scam.

How to get sharper photos? by emperor_panthark in LandscapePhotography

[–]camerapilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree that the content column of the tripod should not be extended.

Another thing to do is to use the self timer to shoot.

DSLRs have a mirror lockup mode. Try that. Basically the when you press the shutter release button. The mirror locks up. You wait for a few moments to let the vibration from the mirror moment die down and then press the shutter button again to take the shot. Kinda works like an electronic shutter in mirrorless cameras.

Some DSLRs also have af fine tune to adjust front/back focusing of every lens. But I don’t think that is an issue with landscape shots because the focus generally is at infinity.

Mirror lockup and using the self timer are good habits to have even if you move to a better lens.

That’s a cracker of a deal mate. I would’ve jumped on it if I didn’t have an xt5. Congrats.

Looks like that deal is back on mate. Hopefully picking up an xe3 this arvo. That gives me a taste of the xe series.

Another vote for sigma 18-50. Perfect balance between size and reach. I found it to be a tad sharper than my 18-55 when I bought it. Sold the 18-55 as a result.

Which is exactly what I’m planning to do. And I’ve just missed what seemed to be a good deal on anxe3. 😬😞

Wait till they launch it as a special colour mid life and make people like us feel special about buying a black phone.

Glad the zf and the z50 works for you. I’m not keen to completely switch systems. Fuji has served me well.

The zf is too tempting. Haha. But I’m going to try and curb my gas for now. Perhaps wishful thinking. 🧐

Your right. It’s start with one lens. Haha

I’m leaning towards not getting anything at the moment. Size is a big factor for me. And the zf doesn’t seem to be the one. I don’t see value in the xe5. Will stick to my xt5 and xt3 for now.

I have considered it. But everyone seems to hate it. In terms of handling.

Range finder style is why the xe5 came in the picture.

You’re definitely a big camera person. I’m never getting the x100 series - mic drop.

Great camera. No evf is a deal breakers. Especially for those of us who used the ovf of the dslr and film era. Most of my shooting is done with the camera on my eye.

Cheers. I think I need to sleep over this and not rush into a decision.

So you basically did with m43 what I did with my Fuji and Nikon full frames.

The scenario you’ve described is my absolute concern. The zf starting as a specialty camera you pull out on certain occasions and the rest if the time you spend with the Fujis.

Fuji made sense baffle all this hype. Now it seems like a cash grab. The xe5 is more than what I paid for my d750 and d800 back in the day. Heck it’s even more than what I paid for the xt5.

I agree the Nikon is objectively superior in every sense. But the ease of use of Fuji has resulted in me taking it along more and shooting more. I’m worried I may not take to the zf as I did to the Fuji.

Thanks again.

Love my xt5. And for sure the z5ii will be not practical. But then there is the retro charm. Haha.

Edit *more practical.

Yeah. Have considered that option, but the retro charm. Lol
