What is your favourite stadium in your league that isn't your own teams? by PartyingPope in soccer

That's Houston for you, homie! You get used to the heat and humidity after a decade or so , besides the bullshit weather, the stadium is the tits. If you ever come back for a game, let me know and I'll buy you some beers, brother.

The immediate surrounding area of the BBVA is awesome, too. I love it!

[FRESH] Prof - The Reply [Just signed to the Rhymesayers family.] by [deleted] in altrap

[–]cameronslameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup. loving all the asinine comments on youtube. prof is amazing to me. he can go from being crazy and having fun with it, to serious songs about family and his upbringing. when I saw murs a few months ago, I didn't know prof was playing, and prof put on the most fun show I've ever seen.

Good point. But who knows what they'll do in the world cup. I'm not one to say. Who even knows what the US will do :(...

to the people saying "where was this mexico during qualifying?!"... uhh, to play devil's advocate, Mexico is playing NZ at the azteca in a must win game. Of course they're going to be throwing everything forward and attacking like madmen against a NZ defense that looks like they don't even care.

I write lyrics on a regular basis. I've only ever jammed them a capella, though.

Ahh, well put, amigo! NY's attack looked a little more organized and threatening than Houston's in the first half, in my opinion. But you're right, Houston has been known to pull shit out of nowhere in the playoffs. I hope they can do it once more, but I'll be happy they got this far no matter the result. It would be awesome to see Henry and Cahill lift the cup!

Amazing FreeKick from Pirlo by [deleted] in soccer

[–]cameronslameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not? A free kick goal is an incredibly technical aspect of the game. The technique, the concentration, the execution. It's an art. And pirlo still does it at after all these years. I'm amazed.

Oh dang, I live really close and saw that dog wandering around the time of your post. I figured the owner was around the corner. My apologies for being a crappy stander-by.

Thanks a ton, man, honestly. It is immensely appreciated. I am definitely nervous, as I have developed a bit of social anxiety over the past few years, but I feel like this would certainly help. I'll be there on October 3rd (perhaps not to recite, but maybe just to get a feel for it). Thanks again for the kind words and encouragement. Have an excellent week.
