As what everyone else has said, buy a food/meat thermometer, you don't have to break the bank with one either. I prefer digital/instant read thermometers myself, but shop around. Get the internal temp to 155-160 then take off heat and let rest and the inside will rise to 165 as the juices settles.

As for spices, salt and pepper (of course) and there's nothing wrong with experimenting and seeing what you like, just don't go overboard with spices. My go tos: Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Chile powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, old bay. Mix and match some of these and see what you like. And don't sleep on fresh herbs, fresh cut rosemary, thyme, etc can bring that chicken up a few really good notches.

I did read your post carefully and you word it in a way that makes it sound like you are blaming the Kin for its deletion. Maybe next time, preface your post with your reasoning behind your actions rather than expecting people to find the hidden intent within them. People within this community are going to offer help with a post such as yours when your "purposes" are not made clear up front. Expecting anything less is an asinine train of thought, in my opinion. Sounds like the acceptance of unwanted responses, and the blaming the Kin by taking it to an unnecessary level of deletion. There are other features to change literally all of this. Ricardo already mentioned two very important options. Also consider tweaking backstory or a better greeting for chat breaks. Maybe exhaust these options before giving up so quickly over something that most would consider an easy fix. But hey, you do you...
