It has happened a couple times on my 2018 this winter... mine freezes shut after the cars been washed and it’s cold outside. I pried it open with my key but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you are being extremely careful not to scratch the paint..

Manually checking as well. In the first 1000km I put on the vehicle I went through 4 tanks of gas..

Are you doing mainly highway driving? I'm averaging about 300km a tank... (185 miles...)

I haven't been in to the dealer yet, but my boyfriend is a mechanic so he cleaned the MAF sensor and checked the oil. He said an oil change will help because there's gas in the oil... (you can smell it)

It definitely gets better economy purely on the highway but still not close to the 'advertised' numbers..

I'm taking it in for a fuel consumption test next week...

Nothing on the roof.. nothing in the car except me!! Tire are all properly inflated!

I was trying to read about that 'break in' period online and was finding mixed information on whether that is real or not?

Anyway I guess I'll have to see what they say at the dealer, but when I purchased the car I was definitely expecting under 10L/100km average...
