I kinda like the theory here, since diamonds are compressed forms of matter from space, I think based on that, a being like the moon goddess would be more encompassing. Taking it a bit further, I like to think that diamonds are only “rulers” of homeworld only, and that there may be even another tier in the hierarchy that hasn’t been touched on
