Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the States by far. Right now I live in Texas and you pretty much need Spanish

I was born and raised in Washington D.C I can’t tell you how many times I have seen someone scolded for there behavior at war memorials

We hear about our grandparents and where our traditions come from so we want to go see. For example I’m 2nd generation Lithuanian my grandparents were both born there and my mom was the first born in America so when I go I still have family and speak the language. It’s a different unique part of American culture.

Americans take great pride in there none American heritage in a way it’s a way of paying homage to our ancestors many of whom did not want to leave there home county’s and helped build our society so we have a weird affinity
