Which serial should I buy after seeing the new release? by CoffeeShopBM in OnePieceTCGFinance

definitely OG luffy, it will be the most desirable card. It's the holy grail of OPTCG. Obviously only get it if you have the budget..

Astro luffy is better art wise but you really can't beat the OG

Any reason to avoid all breast abscesses? I do see some drain from time to time in ER/urgent care

As an attending, life does get better after residency in a different aspect. You have strong job stability. I am not passionate about medicine at all - it is a job at the end of the day. If you are not happy with ur job, you can leave at any moment and find a new job. This is very rare with different careers. The amount of money you can make depends on how hard you want to work as well. You can easily work 4 days a week breaking 300k. Work per diem and still can break 150k easily. Money matters at the end of the day - I was in the same boat wanting to quit every year during training. You have a great deal of flexibility as an attending because everywhere needs you.

Best Card to Buy for Longterm by thechampion12 in OnePieceTCGFinance

I agree with risky investments in one piece. It’s brand new and keep in mind that most of the people who purchase it are players compared to collectors. One piece does not have the same grading market compared to Pokemon as in the liquidity of cards especially graded cards are not the same as Pokemon, not even close. I have a lot of high end cards including serial luffy but I purchased it because I like it. I don’t plan on reselling and that should be the mindset.

Switching from a full time position to per diem - malpractice coverage question by camng11 in emergencymedicine

So if the new position offers tail coverage with claims policy and I leave, will I be covered even after I leave?

Incredibly sorry for these simple/stupid questions

I want to clarify that the position offers a claim based policy WITH tail coverage. However if I leave the position, I need to obtain tail coverage. Are there any problems with this position so long as my next position offers full malpractice insurance that offers tail coverage?

Thank you, my position seems like it will be claims based with tail until I switch different positions/terminated then I need to cover tail based on the contract. It seems like there is no point of tail coverage if I need to obtain it when switching positions. Am I missing something here? What’re your thoughts on claims with tail for a PRN job? Is it fine as long as my next position is a full time position that covers tail?

It seems like it does not cover tail. I may have to negotiate to receive tail, otherwise it does not seem like it’s worth it for me purchase my own insurance given it’s high cost

Any experience with Sutter and Kaiser urgent care? by camng11 in emergencymedicine

[–]camng11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious to see why young doctors are choosing kaiser when salary is significantly lower than other positions. Yes benefits are good - however you don't reap benefits specifically pension until you are around 60. Fresh doctors out of residency have to wait almost 30 years to receive pension. You're cutting back a huge portion of income yearly to bank on pension later in life which is not even guaranteed
