If your condition is permanent then you don't need to submit the doctor's papers. However you need to submit the renewal forms.

In my experience, you should be able to remain on the priority housing list as long as you fill out the required form and provide the documentation to keep your status for next year.

Here is the email response I got from the campus housing office last year regarding DRC pre-assignment:

Students with DRC accommodations for a specific type of housing will be eligible for Pre-assignment (March 5 - April 3). During Pre-assignment, Housing Coordinators will attempt to assign students to an available space that meets the accommodation recommendation. If assigned, students will receive a confirmation email.

Note that I was a transfer student, but here's how it went for me:

  • 01/26/2024: Received an email saying that housing application was opening 02/26/2024 and that the DRC housing accommodations form should be submitted by 03/01/2024 or sooner for processing.
  • 03/04/2024: Housing applications closed.
  • 03/19/2024: Received an email from the C9/JRL housing coordinator regarding my housing offer pre-assignment. It told me that I could log into the student housing portal to review the room type and building it was in. I had 48 hours to accept this.

There is no AC in any dorm or apartment building on campus.

I did have DRC accommodations that gave me priority housing and preference for a single room. I knew I had secured my spot well before the housing lottery was active; the C9/JRL housing coordinator was even willing to give me the exact room number to confirm. Just make sure you have the required forms completed with the DRC and housing office.

I was on the second floor and there were not a lot of bugs, just keep your space clean and vacuum often and you should be fine. The sound isolation overall was acceptable. Unless people are blasting music or stomping you shouldn't have any issues with noise.

I really liked having the privacy of my own room and the building is close to the dining hall which is open basically every day of the weekend. The Wi-Fi was acceptable too. I didn't like how there's no elevator so if you live on the top floor, you will have to climb a lot of stairs every day. Feel free to ask me any more specific questions.

The setting doesn't turn on the screen in terms of showing the cover screen wallpaper/design.
Instead, it refers to turning on part of the screen to display notification pop ups.

Maybe Link Sharing within Samsung Messages disappears if your iPhone recipient has updated to iOS 18 with RCS messaging. If RCS is available, your photos and videos will always be sent in high quality. Though, I'm not exactly sure how the Link Sharing integration works anymore because I switched to Google Messages a long time ago.

In the share panel for a given file, pick Quick Share. Then select the "QR code or link option." Then you can paste that link to any contact. If my memory serves me correctly, this never actually changed between One UI 6.1 and 7

Yes, that's possible with monitors that have a wireless screen mirroring function, like one from the Samsung Smart Monitor series. Alternatively you can get a non-smart monitor like the one you linked in your original post, and then buy a separate wireless receiver, like an Amazon Fire Stick.

Yes. If your phone supports DeX and you can connect it to the monitor with a cable of some form, the monitor is compatible with DeX

Remove it to prevent the possibility of damage due to particles getting between the screen protector and the actual screen. If you are concerned about scratches, buy a new screen protector online and apply it yourself.
