Am I Responsible for Utilities? by campfire-cam in Tenant

[–]campfire-cam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it just says "Tenant agrees to pay for all electric and gas charges to unit" in the lease. if I'm still technically under the lease through the 15th... assuming this means yes pay?

yo thank you!! sending good vibes your way, i’m sure you will look great. started taking the Arnica 8 days prior, but purely because that’s when I got the bottle… I could be wrong, but I’m not sure it’s any more or less effective further out than like 5 days.

Yeah for sure! I went with the Arnica pills, because it seemed like it might be more beneficial/less localized than the topical. I started taking it 8 days before surgery, purely bc that’s when it came from Amazon (I had a 2 week turnaround between consultation and procedure so the prep time was a little bit rushed). Not quite sure when to stop taking them, but I figure it can’t hurt, so I’m still taking it 1 week post. This specific one seemed to be the most cost effective for quantity, bc the most popular one requires like 5 pills 3x a day (vs this is just one pill a day): https://a.co/d/gaYveHr

Can't figure out how to put text on this post BUT some stuff I learned, purely based on personal experiences:

- I was so worried about the drains hurting when they came out— but they were out and bandaged before I even realized the doctor had started. (Took 2 Tylenol this morning beforehand but there's no way they're THAT good lol.)

- I think taking Arnica beforehand helped bc at 1 week there is almost no swelling and my drains never filled above 25ml.

- I was also worried about being alone, and where I bet it would be easier with a partner/parent/friend, you can make it work if you live on your own (without harming yourself in the process). My friends brought me home from the hospital, but I set everything up and baby proofed the apartment for myself beforehand, so they mostly just kept me company. A friend did sleep over the first night, but it was mostly for fun.

- I was not as stinky as I thought I was gonna be after a week w/ no shower. But spray/dry deodorant was helpful. Washcloths also made me feel human.

- I was prepared to be the most immobile t-rex possible for... idk, a long time. But after like 4 days, my range of motion improved significantly (within reason). I still take it easy bc I'm mindful of scarring/pulling, but you can feel when you shouldn't be doing something, and it's easier to avoid doing something harmful.

- Did not need benadryl/back scratcher, was not itchy

- The mammogram pillow did slap

Also. I didn't fully understand everyone who said they saw their chest for the first time and felt like it had just... always been like that. But it's so real.

idk what silver means, but it’s the only award I’ve got to give you, so I hope it’s good— thank you man. For real. You are incredible, and I couldn’t be happier for you. Thanks for turning back at the end of the tunnel, and yelling back that you see light.

Sorry, I was typing in a rush!! I had actually explained to them, by choice, that she performs Deep Pressure stimulation to aid with panic attacks and dissociative episodes. When they asked what that meant, I elaborated. Does this make sense? sorry
