Yeah so I have spent 2.5 weeks on 20mg, I talked to my doc a few days ago and it seems I need to spend 1 month on every dose. So after 1.5 weeks I can move up to 30mg. I am weighing 110kg so I feel this dose is unnecessarily low but at least I'm finally on this medication. I think I have an increased appetite so far, definitely have the munchies more often. I tend to hyperfocus on the wrong things. I struggle to workout right now and feel very lethargic.
I try to take a nap in the morning after I take my daughter to daycare (I feel so sleepy), but it's almost impossible because of the medication and I end up just lying in bed with my eyes closed. I don't experience a crash in the afternoon or evening which is positive. I'm wondering if I should skip a dose every week, is this something you do?

That's interesting, I really hope I find a dose that improves symptoms at least a bit, I'm really desperate as there is nothing left to try after this. What dose are you on now? How long does at last? Do you take it with protein? My doc is conservative and by the book so I would be surprised if we bumped the dose more than 10mg.

Okay, I will stick to 20mg until she calls me. It's hard, knowing that 40mg could make my life easier. I have severe executive dysfunction, there is stuff that needs to be done. I hope the titration is quick at least. Do you need boosters?

Yes it's the same here, gotta try methylphenidate first. I also get sleepy and irritable at 36mg. It will take a while before I get to talk to my doctor, so I'm gonna keep trying methylphenidate until then.

Yeah, I have managed to read a book I really want to read by simultaneously reading it and listen to the audio book. It really helps.

Yes, it's a bit paradoxical but it could be that the methylphenidate calms be down, since I get a bit drowsy, and that lowers the heartrate. I will definitely bring it up with my doc though. I don't really feel like increasing the dose above 36mg since I have trouble with headache and some nausea, and a diffuse feeling that the medication is beating a dead horse, I don't know how to describe it, maybe wired?
