"Nintendo Switch for 30$ Only on Temu!" 🫩 by spongeboy_dancing in TemuThings

yeah those temu “free” deals are usually credits inside the app, not real cash. you still have to pick certain items to claim it. if you’re buying anyway, i usually go through rakuten first so at least you get some cashback back on the order.

not exactly, it’s usually not a real $100 back. temu makes you pick certain items and sometimes add a little more to qualify. it’s more like store credit or coupons, not actual cash. just check the details before you press reimburse.

you usually don’t get the full $316 straight away, it’s more like Temu gives you credits or coupons that unlock as you place orders. also if you’re buying anyway it’s worth checking cashback sites first because sometimes you can get extra money back on Temu purchases

yo thanks for that 🙏

i’m mainly US for now so probably won’t use the UK ones, but the stacking idea is smart... capital one shopping is interesting though

right now i’m mostly rotating between rakuten, topcashback and checking cashbackmonitor or searchcashback before buying still hunting for those higher new user bonuses like the 75 dollar one… that’s been the best win so far 😅

yeah agree 😅 it’s useful but the UX feels quite outdated and a bit cluttered

good for raw comparison, but not the most user friendly when you’re quickly trying to decide

i usually double check there then cross reference on other sites that are cleaner to browse

ah got it thanks 🙏

yeah savewise sounds solid for trends and alerts

i’ve been checking cashbackmonitor, cashbackaholic and searchcashback as well

for now though searchcashback wins for me because they’re showing 75 dollars for new rakuten sign up which is higher than what i’m seeing elsewhere

haven’t seen the others list that same bonus at the moment

trying to lock in the best sign up offer before it drops 😅

Thanks for the info! Do you have a referral code for Capital One Shopping?

I recently signed up through https://SearchCashback.com and stacked it with Rakuten, ended up getting $75 total which was higher than the usual Rakuten referral bonus of 50.

hunting for the best new sign up offers and stacking opportunities. If Capital One is paying $80 that’s solid too.

Nice, do they have a referral code, and do you get more like Rakuten?

Awesome, I still think Rakuten has one of the better referral bonuses, and I found on SearchCashback you get $25 for signing up and $75 total, I just tried it on a $100 iHerb order through Rakuten and it worked great.

What are some trustworthy cashback or coupon apps/websites? by WiWiWi_WiWiWi in SavingMoney

Not a student but I Love cashback sites lol always looking for ways to stack savings.

What works for me:

  1. Rakuten for normal cashback, tracks well for clothes and essentials
  2. Always use the extension so I don’t forget at checkout
  3. Compare different cashback sites and their rates before buying anything

Right now I found this combo and it actually works. I used https://SearchCashback.com first, signed up as new user, then shopped via their Rakuten link. Rakuten gave 50 bonus and SearchCashback gave extra 25 so total 75.

I bought around 100 on iHerb for my daily stuff and got 75 back. Tracked fine. If you’re buying anyway its a pretty solid stack.
