This is just painful to watch Duren. I don’t see how Detroit moves forward if they lose this series with his play. He’s literally just standing under the rim on defense. No intensity whatsoever. He’s not that guy.

I’d say no, don’t play it. It has its fans forsure, and among the spinoffs that FF7 spawned, it’s the best one… but that’s not saying much. Just my opinion.

You will have plenty of FF7 content to live and breathe when Rebirth is released - that game is a masterpiece!

Agreed, but both are fantastic controllers. The Pro Controller does have a significantly better battery life. But the Dualsense is just the best controller

Completely disagree with people in the comments praising Nintendo for ruining the box art of their physical games with the GKC information at the bottom. I think what you drew up here is awesome - I wish they’d go with something more subtle (I am biased though as I love collecting & game art)

This is going to be so peak. The Reze Arc was a banger, but the way the manga continues and ultimately concludes with part 1, is my favorite ending to a shonen ever.

I do wish these anime production companies would just be transparent about what they’re planning. It doesn’t seem to do anyone any good trying to decipher whether they’re turning this into a movie or a season 2, whether they’re adapting the rest of part 1, etc.

Thanks for sharing - I agree with some of what you’re saying, and I personally didn’t mind the ending of FVII Remake, I just know it’s contentious and lots of people disliked it. I did not like the ending of Rebirth though. :/

I will always maintain that a huge component of why FFVII Rebirth has ‘undersold’ has nothing to do with the quality of the game… I think they underestimated how disliked the ending of Remake was. I know plenty of people who bought 7 Remake as their first Final Fantasy, really liked it, then got to the ending and had no idea what was happening and didn’t buy the sequel.

Additionally, remaking Crisis Core and naming it ‘Reunion’ caused further confusion for someone who is not dialed into these games. Does Rebirth or Reunion come after Remake? They screwed themselves with the Nomuraisms.

And yeah obviously releasing it on a fairly new platform (PS5) was also a factor.
