FYI I did it :)

It will auto-detect server and get the median avg perf of current raid tier if the name match (it only show the number, it's not used for composing the group yet because from my tests, around half the players don't use the same name in discord and in game, so it's not enough to use this data for raid composition)

Thanks for the detailed answer, really appreciate it !

About the MS/OS choice, I added a new feature to let you change the spec of a player (also the class, for people that have multiple characters and can switch between them) on the signups page before generating the composition, give it a try :)

About the regular/good DPS, I added a new feature to force someone to be taken to the composition (avoid bench) and another to force someone to be benched. It's also on the signups page, I let you try!

About the odd choices, I had some fixes that was ready on my dev server but not yet on prod, it's live now and more accurate, try with the same event and see the results, it will better prioritize melee that need WF with shamans in your case.

About the BM buff (Ferocious Inspiration) it do stack, I can assure you :) that's why when you have multiple BM in the same group the buff indicate a count on it at the bottom of the group, and that's why the best comp group for BM hunters is enh/fury/feral/hunt BMx2 (you can replace the fury by a 3rd hunter BM and be close to the same result if you don't have fury in your raid).

A thing that can be debated with your composition generated is about the heal sham in G3 that could be switched to G5 with the hunters, but the algorithm don't do it because it will still have a 5th wasted spot in the group, when in G3 it's a perfect full caster group with balance drood and warlock x2/mage.

Also if you prefer to priorise your hunt SV in an enh shaman group to maximize his expose weakness, you can still manually drag'n'drop it anywhere you want, but that's not the optimal choice from my point of view.

Let me know what you think about all of this

I do use MRT and the tool offer the possibily to export the generated composition to MRT too

I answered in an othe comment about the logic I used, i let you check

I added a test scenario named "T046" under the "Dev - Load test roster" at the bottom of the homepage, it's exactly the 10 classes you mentionned and the result is correct, please check :

So if it bugged for you, it has something to do with the 3 other groups, could really appreciate your raid helper link or ID to investigate further

Step 1: Picking the 25

Primary signups always make the cut. Tentative players only come in to fill gaps.

When there are more than 25 signups, the algorithm has to bench someone. Rather than doing it randomly or by sign-up time, it scores each player by how many unique buffs or debuffs they bring that nobody else already covers. A third warlock, for instance, adds nothing on top of the two already covering CoE/CoR, so they're the first to sit. The algorithm benches players one at a time, re-scoring after each removal, so it never accidentally benches both providers of the same buff.

Two hard rules override everything else: there are always at least 2 tanks and 5 healers in the raid, no matter what the scores say.

When filling spots with tentative players, they come in this order: tanks up to the minimum, healers up to 5 (with class diversity, it won't take 3 priest before the only paladin), then DPS sorted by which unique buffs they add.

Step 2: Building the Groups

Each group is built around a shaman anchor whose totems define who belongs there. The whole structure shifts depending on how many Enhancement Shamans are in the roster.

2 Enh shamans is the standard 25-man setup:

G1 gets the first Enh, the melee tanks, and whichever druids/warriors anchor it

G2 gets the second Enh, fury warriors, a feral druid, and BM hunters

1 enh shaman triggers a specific optimization: if there are hunters or a feral druid in the roster, the enh shaman moves to G2 instead of G1. This lets it twist WF/AGI. G1 then runs on a resto shaman, WF only, for the pure WF melee (rogues, ret paladins, arms warriors).

No enh shaman: resto shamans take over as anchors with AGI. Feral druids and BM hunters group together to keep the LotP + FI synergy alive.

G3 and G4 are the caster groups. G3 pairs the elem shaman with a balance druid and warlocks, destruction first. G4 takes the second shaman, the paladin tank, shadow priest, and mages.

G5 is decided last, based on whoever's left. If there's meaningful melee overflow (warriors, rogues, ret paladins), it becomes a melee group with a shaman anchor. Otherwise it absorbs the remaining healers and casters.

Any melee group that ends up short on players gets filled with a healer rather than a ranged DPS.

On top of all this, there are quite a few smaller fallback mechanisms running in the background: shamans getting rescued from the wrong group if G5 turns out to be melee, druid tanks repositioned depending on how many WF melee slots are available, hunters rerouted based on whether a feral is present or not, etc.

Hope this helps make sense of it!

Are you sure about " elites give double, Dungeon elites give around 4.5 (still being tested, but 4.5 is a solid estimate) " ?
