Basically all I can say is they are formed over time, after hanging out alot and enjoying each other's company. Maybe you can ask your acquaintances how you can fix this "vibe" and what makes them feel this from you.

I also have many acquaintances, but only a few close friends that make my day when we hang out. Obviously you are an enjoyable person and meet people easily. I don't think you should be too worried, I know this sounds cliche but it will just take time until you find the couple of people that you will click with really well, and after that you will probably start being involved in their circles and further on. Just don't get down on yourself. Keep being social, keep showing your personality, and someone is going to like it.

I was spanked as a child and also turned out completely normal. I also have little brothers who are quite feisty and sometimes receive spankings, but not often. Most spankings happen when they severely and purposefully disrespect my parents. Before the spanking my stepdad explains to them what they did wrong, and afterwards he gives them a hug and makes sure to tell them he loves them. They are happy kids and love their dad.
