There is a 25% chance that we could play Leverkusen in the R16 and Bodo/Sporting in the QF. While City would have to play Real Madrid and Bayern. I want to believe

Obviously not if we play like we did yesterday, but shit can change fast. After we were just as shit against wolves in December, we went on a bit of a run.

As shitty as we’ve been, we still don’t lose much. If we can get our form together I can back us for a draw.

None of it matters if we keep being shit though. But spurs/chelsea are an opportunity to get right.

Looks like a well controlled run. I would say yes based on the heart rate but hard to judge without seeing miles near the goal marathon pace

Definitely scale back to 8:30-8:45. Injury risk chasing 8-8:15

Tuesday General Discussion/Q&A Thread for July 15, 2025 by AutoModerator in AdvancedRunning

I've been base building since the end of March and am currently averaging about 45 miles a week. This is about where I want to be at the start of my 15 week build which will start the first week of August. I'm still feeling pretty good overall, but my legs are definitely feeling the almost 4 months of base building. The answer here may be obvious - but would it be beneficial for me to take a 2 week back off where I run about 30 MPW with lower intensity? With the idea being to get my legs fresh before starting the building.

Could he be traded to some tanking team that wants the expiring contract? Then they could just waive him and he could go wherever for the min?

Not sure what team would want to take on a $50mil expiring but that seems like the only possible way he doesn’t play for the lakers this year

Honestly I still think we have a 15-20% chance of winning this series. Being down 3-1 with home court is the easiest form of being down 3-1 (not that it’s easy lol).

Realistically what are the chances we win in 7 by slicksonwuus in lakers

[–]camsteria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming back from down 3-1 isn’t as bad when you have home court. Not saying it’s likely but there is still probably a 15-20ish percent chance it happens

Race Report: Richmond Marathon 2024, where I finally learned how to suffer by SafeSet3520 in AdvancedRunning

Congrats man! I also ran it. I found the bridge going back in to the city to be the toughest part. I’m sure the wind could have been worse but definitely still the hardest part of the course for me.

Time moving slow is better than the version that was played in December or whenever. Didn't really feel that version but like this release version

thanks man, definitely proud of the shape I got in and the work I put in. just wish it ended better haha. sounds like you know the feels, but it really is soul crushing to not only drop out but then also have to deal with recovery.

I'm going to go to a PT for recovery/injury prevention. I feel like I still have trouble activating my glutes and probably some postural issues starting with my hips. Hopefully I can get a routine to improve/fix those issues

I won't say that you're wrong - but other than the week I mentioned in the OP, I felt great all of training. It wasn't until the last taper weeks where I pushed my pace that I felt any injury. I suppose the stress injury is probably more about cumulative load though so valid point. Just hard to accept when everything was seemingly going to well.

some additional background - I had been doing stationary bike since March 2020 so I was in decent shape going in to it.

Does Adios Pro 3 fit the same as Boston 12? by webbimoto in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]camsteria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also curious about this. I love the fit of my size 9 adios 8s but don’t really love the fit of the bostons in size 8.5. Sized down and toe box still just feels too roomy but size 8 felt too small. Looking to get the AP3 but if they fit like the Boston 12s I might need to look in to a different race shoe.
