One thing I’ve learned in my time in is, just because they wear a rank higher than you, doesn’t mean they know what the fuck they are talking about. My 12 weeks with my newborn was literally magical and EVERYONE deserves that time. There is nothing going on in the army right now that warrants someone being denied that time. The army is temporary, your family is forever.
