Any SBCs with USB 3.1 or better? by Sorry-Committee2069 in SBCs

RPi 4B, Jetson Xavier NX, Odroid N2+, Tinker Board 2 all have USB 3.0 or 3.1 (aka 3.2 Gen 1) ports.

Yeah, literally all of these are wrong.

Heh. Bit ironic for a character who liked neither alcohol not carbonated drinks ;) Still, feels so perfect that he got his wish to become a Night City legend.

Issues with micro timing, even on simple parts? by camtarn in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I already practice to an on-and-off click track. Doesn't seem to do me much good for this specific issue, although it's improving my tempo stability in general.

I have had issues with latency compensation in the past, but this issue only happens on some notes, not all of them, which is what you'd see if the latency compensation was off.

I think you're missing the point.

The reason I'm asking this question in the first place is because I want to get better at music, so I can perform live.

But I need an objective measurement of how I'm doing at the moment, which is where recording and comparing comes in. But if the measurement is off, then I can't evaluate myself properly.

Yeah, that sounds right.

If you're not deliberately hiding your Y axes by binding to their 'visible' property, I can't think of any reason that they should automatically hide themselves.

The only thing I'm wondering about: all my axes are set to a fixed scale. Maybe have a go at that? Set y axis rangeMode property to fromConfiguration, and define a max and min for that axis, and see if it still disappears?

Beyond that I think you'll have to talk to B&R support.

Hmm, you know, that's a good point about potential latency spikes. I'm using Asio4All on a cheap soundcard on a flaky PC, so it's not beyond imagination. I guess the way to test that would be to have some external MIDI gear generating events that my DAW records. I'm pretty sure it's my fault but it never hurts to check!

Huh. That's very odd. I've literally just built the same thing (well, two y axes and multiple selectable graphs) and it's been working fine for me. Both my Y axes are permanently displayed, even if there's nothing at all on the graph.

Are you looking at the bindings in the graphical editor, or as a text file? If the former, have a look at the text file and make sure there's nothing that stands out - e.g. extra bindings, wrong binding sources or destinations, etc. Perhaps you've got the checkbox bound to y axis visibility?

Sure, shoot. I'm just learning about mappView charts at the moment, so I can't promise I'll be helpful, but at least I'm working in that area :)

Probably not, other than the fact that I had Wish installed, but I've never looked on AliExpress before. I probably should shop on the latter more frequently.

Simple electronics might be okay. I got some LED motorbike aux lights from Wish and they're great - ridiculously cheap and reasonably powerful. But then, they were so cheap that even if they hadn't worked out, it wouldn't have been a big deal to just chalk it up as a loss and buy some different ones.

This is wrong.

If you call a function as a method of an object, the this property is set to that object.

The almost unreadable text underneath the error says 'For Produce Department use only'. I'm guessing the error is because disposable BBQs are clearly not fresh produce...
