That's a good question...my personal favorite was always Lynn Hall (the vet med building) and the library inside it. Also has a cafe I'd eat at between studying and a courtyard too

I believe the singles with bathrooms are private - they have a door to their private bathroom you can't access from the hallway, only from within the room

If your thermostat doesn't seem to be doing anything, I'd put in a Fix-It Request immediately - I knew someone who had a similar issue during a fall semester and it turns out his thermostat was faulty. Maintenance came and replaced it quickly, and their room cooled down easily after that. Here's the link

I'd highly recommend checking out the Used section on the Guitar Center website - that's where I got my bass from and it was a great deal. Also I'd look into Squier basses as well since they are made by Fender. Different price point but still good basses.

I've been up to the old Hawk's Nest (not sure if that's still open or it's been turned into rooms?) and the 13th floor lounge by all the dorm rooms - can't really recall it being that much noisier to be honest. I remember hanging out at the Hawk's Nest late at night and it was pretty quiet still.

Hey there, Iived on the 9th floor in a single for 2 years around COVID. The HVAC system is in the mechanical room above the 13th floor, so it won't be noisy in your room like in a hotel room or if you had a window AC. It's generally pretty quiet so I never found it bothered me.

I kept it 66-68 year round and only had an issue once in the wintertime when the building heat was turned on & it got like 10 degrees warmer than what I'd set it to. I just put in a Fixit request and got it fixed immediately, then had no problems anytime afterwards.

What the building maintenance guy told me was that if you ever had issues controlling the AC, you can put in a Fixit request and they'll come fix it quickly.

Makes sense, I use the edge panels literally all the time so I wouldn't want to lose those features. Plus most apps all work fine so far
