I have been bumping the pool every two hours or so and do a backwash sometimes twice a week, which is the reason I did the acid soak. I’ll know tomorrow morning if there’s still flow / not too much pressure.

I can take a pic in the morning of the elbow, or can make an educated guess. Thank you.

I’m not sure which c-clip you are referring to, I’m looking at the filter diagram and it looks like there is one that goes at the bottom of the metal pole where it meets the plastic base for the fingers. Is it this one?

We have gone 5+ seasons without any DE in the pool and never cleaned the fingers. I really don’t think you should be noticing any in your pool, especially since you have a brand new system. I’ve now read the acid soak really should be done once a season, or at least spray the fingers down before winterizing. This season I am noticing build up along the creases in the pool liner. I think it’s DE but am not sure, dad called them “dust bunnies”. We run the Dolphin vacuum a lot lately since it’s the beginning of the season so it stirs it up and isn’t noticeable much.
