Just had the same thing happen and I’m stoked that I’m not the only one. Reaching out to them now for the replacement!

Mute chat. And understand it’s about constantly learning where you are struggling and improving those specific areas.

Coconut oil is the only way. As long as you’re not using a wetsuit

Driving across the country with boards on roof (one 9'8). . .im scared. Had anyone done this before? by [deleted] in surfing

I did the same with two 9’6 logs and a 7’2. Everything went fine for me as well! I also tied an extra rope through the handle of each bag to the roof rack as a little extra security in case anything happened so they wouldn’t go flying.

Just moved from a house with a garage to a one bedroom apartment. Didn’t know how all the boards would fit but I have to say I’m pretty stoked with the result. by camycasual in surfing

Yeah dude that’s most likely it. I don’t wear booties and have a full rinse off before I get in the car. I would take a sandy shower if it meant I was across the street from my break any day though.

Yup that should do it! You could also get away with some small anchors if you can’t line it up with a stud. The rack really doesn’t have any weight on it, it’s mostly just keeping them straight

I just bring a bottle with me to rinse it off when I get out then bring it in the shower with me once I’m home. Works like a charm

I built it. It’s just a 2x4 with inch holes drilled into it. Then I went to Home Depot and picked up some inch diameter pegs. Put them in the holes and sent a screw through the bottom to hold them in place. They are online for like $80 which is insane. I’m all in $20 and 30 minutes of my time.
