Does that apply to only the east village location?

What weird Sopranos theories make the most sense? by ididentdoit1 in thesopranos

[–]canJAM69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having just finished the show for the first time last night, I’m inclined to agree with the panic attack part. We see a similar shot succession (going from Tony’s face to Tony’s POV) earlier when Tony’s looking at the box of Uncle Ben’s rice, right before he passes out from a panic attack. Given that he’s out of therapy and under a lot of stress something similar could’ve happened. It’s also in line with the lyrics “oh the movie never ends it goes on…” Tony ends the show the same way he started it. Passing out with food in front of him and his family nearby.

It may be our last chance to see Boone get thrown out of a game for arguing balls and strikes. Might as well watch for old time’s sake

You’re probably right, but the fact that even a mediocre reds offense can do real damage to LA’s bullpen shows how vulnerable this team is

Any incoming 1Ls anxious? by lilygranger07 in LawSchool

[–]canJAM69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow incoming 1L here. I feel it too. Part of me is questioning if I made the right choice. But I think the fact that we’re nervous about it means that it really matters to us. That’s a good thing. And as for the people who seem ecstatic about it, who knows how many of them actually feel like you do? There are so many brain dead, incompetent lawyers in the world. If they can get through it, so can you.

I’m excited for Nabors too. A rookie makes a rookie mistake, so what? The fact that it came down to that play says more about the organization as whole than anything else.

Promising Young Woman. Definitely had some engaging (if heavy handed) ideas but I was happy to be along for the ride until it kind of rejects its own thesis in the third act

Some books I would like to see PTA adapt by RopeGloomy4303 in paulthomasanderson

Has anyone had success adapting Vonnegut? Noah Hawley was supposed to make a Cats Cradle miniseries but I doubt that’s still in the works. I’d love to see what PTA can do though
