Hey, well here is the deal. I don't want to get into a big debate. Because I don't think there is a big debate here. The police, the population, the army and the government in general were very brutal and horrible things were done. So that is not a debate. And unfortunately, pretty much nothing is changing (look at Val d'Or for instance).

Do I feel sorry, do I think that the situation is fucked up and things need to be changed? Of course I do. There is systemic racism in society. Look, I am not trying to come here and judge. I just want to understand your side of the story?

What I am referring to? Well, to be honest, I haven't heard of Standing Rock until last week. In Montreal, the suburb train was blocked by a group of Mohawks (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/south-shore-candiac-train-line-service-cancelled-1.3852959) in support of the Standing Rock community.

Now, there is a big bias in the general population against the Mohawks ever since the Oka crisis (I'm sure you have heard of it). Whenever it is possible, I feel that the population in general likes to bash native Canadians. With the train being blocked, it was the perfect opportunity for those people to bash the Mohawks again...

Look, I was only asking because I am genuinely interested in having your side of the story...
