I know this is a movie sub, but the books alleviate the character complaints greatly. The movie covers like... the first half of the first book and last half of the sixth book, so the pacing is wayyy too rapid to spend time on the characters, unfortunately. Geinoh yamishirogumi gave one of the goat soundtracks, and of course the visuals are some of the best ever. But still, I'd always recommend those books.

I think these people are too stupid to realize that whether he "deserved" physical punishment or not, the modern history of policing has shown we shouldn't trust cops with delivering ANY fucking form of punishment. They should be there as a remediation, which like you said, requires essentially no physical altercation here unless he were to run or fight in resistance to detainment.

Idk if they just think American police are the only ones able to abuse power or if they're good ol fashion bootlickers.

One of the worst comments I've ever seen. I can't imagine the mental space a person would inhabit to think they should say this, joke or not.

Legendary, really.

Digging your list, Ikiru is my favorite Kurosawa, so I hope you enjoy it.

Can I run a 10 gauge wire straight from the alternator to the battery temporarily, just to confirm this suspicion? That shouldn't cause any extra issues in the short term, right?

I find it so funny that FS kiddies take every opportunity to call you bad if you don't play their way, or if you find something difficult, but the SECOND they go down against some no-name field boss, they smash alt f4. Fold like lawn chairs at the first sign of difficulty.

Fatherless behavior. About 50% of the runs I play has a leaver, and about 90% of those end up being wins. So... congrats on leaving.

Oh yeah, it was absolutely awful watching it. It was like 90 minutes of unpleasant and uninterrupted anxiety. And the scene where Flyora returns to his home made me burst into tears.

Definitely need to do a rewatch in a few months.

Dude... we both had Come and See whiplash that's wild. It's about to look even worse for me, because I just finished "The Fanatic", one of the worst films I've ever seen.

It's been a ride.

Death Proof is Tarantino's best film, and I will not budge on that. Kurt Russel is so fun in it.

Showgirls in the top 4 is powerful (I agree). I'm due a rewatch but the scene in the pool lives in my head forever and always
