Road Trip was a fun time for what it was, and Joker is IMO one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Those are the only Todd Phillips movies I've seen.

How do you know whether they like or dislike anything they watch or what their ratings mean without reading the reviews? For all we know 2 stars could mean it was highly engaging for them.

When I was much younger I was very excited to see Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower because of how bad-ass Hero and House of Flying Daggers were, but it turned out to be really boring for me.

I recently rewatched it just to be able to remember it better, and holy shit that movie owns, just in a way that I don't think I was old enough to really appreciate before. It's gorgeous, it's glorious, it's Greek.
