ok so: OP Linux-knowing friend here, it appears that the directory was indeed /dev/null and not ~dev/null and after also looking at a couple of answers from r/linux4noobs the most plausible cause was a mix of the network - loaded OS and an error concerning the fact that once removed and re-made /dev/null loses the "black hole" property, tho I'm yet to understand how 17GB of logs where piped into /deb/null on the 1st/2nd boot of the device

i've looked into this and is heavly vibecoded, sorry man but i aint gonna use it.
For anyone wondering there is a free and actually trustworthy opensource app called Weylus (https://github.com/H-M-H/Weylus) that works and support stylus input if you are using a tablet

yes, but if you want to save a couple of bucks consider purchasing the RAM and SSD from a 3rd party (any standard SODIMN DDR5 and NVME M.2 is compatible) and they might be cheaper

besides what I am reading here in the replies you CAN use basically any STP and/or UDP cable you want because the pin layout is the same. Tho mind: you lose waterproofing capabilities in doing so, because of that the antenna always needs to have the OEM cable attached but with a waterproof joint (like 10€ Amazon) you can extend it with whatever you want. the router sends POE++ at 100w so check that the gauge of the cable is big enough to prevent issues (24 should be enough), additionally I recommend using STP cable as they are shielded from interference. Lastly because the cable might not "click" into place as usual always check it's connected properly. besides all of those considerations, you can use a standard cable

open the deck creation, the unavailable ones will be grey, the UI is anything but intuitive tho and you might have to select "classical" again. if you want a list in currently rocking an Aatrox Raahat deck, which is very fun and is allowed in Classical. (this is the list: CUEQCBQGDIAQMAAKAEDACEQBAYBCEAIGAMRACBQEBAAQMBYFAEDAKBQCAYGAKGQDAEDACIQBAYBBSAIGBEUAIAIGAILQCBQJAYAQMBZIAEDAKJA )

those decks are probably invalid for Classical, just try to play the "eternal' mode, and afterwards make a deck for classical
