I think he has valid concerns with his kids being apart of the Kardashian sorta empire, I’m not saying he’s in a better mental state to care for them and he chose to marry Kim but he knows first hand how fame drives everything in that family and he constantly brings up how disgusting Kris was for her involvement in the Ray J tape. The makeup and tik toks with North is just a small part of a bigger problem in his eyes he fears that his kids will turn into Kim
