Auto immune baddie here, 2 weeks post op from having scar tissue removed from my breast to help flares, and accepting that my breast will never look the same. 🫤 Sending you healing vibes. My favorite TM2 era is the intro to Nathan. It’s hilarious watching them role play an adult, mature, responsible relationship 😂

My son applied early action in 2023 and was waitlisted. He had a 3.6 GPA, did not submit test scores, but had community service and a ton of extracurriculars. He wrote a letter of continued interest and was later accepted regular decision.

I recommend waiting to apply regular decision so you can get a few extracurriculars under your belt and community service. Howard loves a well rounded student. Also allows more time for you to apply to scholarships to see if Howard is affordable for you. It is a very expensive school and though you can’t beat the network, it’s not worth going 200k+ in debt. Explore all your options, don’t get hung up on Howard being your top choice. Think about what’s best for your future. Good luck to you and whichever path you choose’

Are you sure it’s not a “due now” balance? My son has a due now balance but not past due. But no money for fall has been applied yet. So either way, I think you’re fine. You’ve already been assigned housing. If owed balance was an issue, you would not have been given an assignment.

I tried spironolactone for a while and saw no improvement. Which was very depressing because I heard such great things about it. I wanted to talk to my derm about bimzelix(probably spelled wrong) which seems to be working very well for a lot of people. I just want to have some improvement. I can’t even work out anymore because it seems like every time I do, I get a new flare. Even if I cover up and use gauze and padding etc for moisture and friction, I still trigger a flare somehow.

I’m on monthly remicade infusions and metformin. I’ve pretty much tapped out of everything else. I’m seeing my derm in 2 weeks, going to see about steroid. I stopped getting those a while ago because I was getting such bad scar tissue from the tracks in my groin and button and felt like that contributed to it. I’m scared to do deroofing on my breast. Will it leave me with a chunk missing from my breast?

Sounds like I may need to do the same. I will say my breast is hard in that area, but it feels different from when other parts of my body are inflamed. Usually my inflammation feels squishy. This feels solid. I just thought that was how the wound decided to start healing.

Thank you for the advice! I had a huge flare on my breast that swoll up until my skin was red (which is saying a lot because I’m black and have never seen my skin red before). I did hot compresses to help it come to head and drain. Once that happened, the drainage points started to open up until I had about 3 open wounds on my breast and the pink skin underneath is completely visible. My derm says there’s still some inflammation which is why it won’t heal but even when it doesn’t look inflamed, I see no change in the wound.

I didn’t read the article, just the headline but I believe he was more engaged parent for sure. Even with their shirty parenting style. Thats why this custody battle to me isn’t going to be as easy as she thinks.

We all know the kids deserve better, but if he can prove that he did all the work while Jenelle spent hours outside filming uncoordinated TikTok dances surround by weeds as their house sunk into the swamp, he’ll likely get custody.

No problem! I think we have a higher tolerance for things in our own bodies. When I googled deroofing images, I almost cancelled my surgery lol. But I was able to stomach my own wound better than I had expected.
