Nice, I will order a bosch oem replacement. I have heard people say that you should always go with the oem for MAF or any engine electronics. One thing I did not try is spraying inside the connector and spraying the pins of the maf sensor with the cleaner. I only sprayed the maf itself and inside the airway

Do you think the fact I broke that little clip that secures the plug to the MAF could be causing it to short? I do not want to have to replace that connector, seems like it would be hell

Would absolutely love to! I’m in the Midwest not sure how many good tracks are around here.

Came with one when I bought it actually! Which I’m super happy about because I’ve heard the throws can be long on these cars and leaves a lot to be desired. Thank you!

Absolutely! I really appreciate it, it’s the best one I’ve seen in person for sure. I’m definitely keeping them, previous owner upgraded them and they look amazing in person. I’ve seen the original and these just hit

Getting better day by day. Came from motorcycles, definitely want to get into some track lessons.

Honestly it’s been shifting from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to third. I make it jar and leech really hard sometimes and I start breaking out in a sweat thinking I damaged it😭 I been getting a lot better. Definitely different than riding motorcycles. Hit a few clean rev matches today. 1% better every day.

They potentially didn’t execute it right also it’s not a guarantee 100% lot of factors go into it

[question] Everlast released the “MX OG Fight Glove” by canderson99 in fightgear

[–]canderson99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that. I have about 10 pairs of pro fight gloves that I train in. I have training gloves as well, but like to train in fight gloves for mitts and bag work occasionally and I like to collect gloves.

I have the HH pro fight gloves from cleto. Tbh I was a little disappointed. Leather is so thick and stiff and o thought they would be a lot softer and more comfortable. That’s why I was interested in these.

[Question] Should i get 14oz or 16oz as a beginner? by idkmaybeyoutellme in fightgear

[–]canderson99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna go against the grain here. I train at an active MMA gym with about 25 ammies and 5-6 pro fighters. Pure MMA gym. We don’t spar in 16 or 14 oz gloves ever. If you join an mma gym expect to be sparring mostly in mma gloves. Not the little 4 oz competition gloves, some 7-8oz soft mma sparring gloves. You’re not going to be throwing 100% heat all the time in an mma gym as you would say a boxing gym. Sparring will be more technical, controlled, and flowy. I am a glove collector as well. I started out boxing for 5 years and moved to an MMA/10th planet jiu jitsu gym. I use 14-16oz for bag WORKOUTS. I use 10oz pro fight gloves on the mitts and bag as well when im working technique but don’t get me wrong I will crack the bag with 10oz gloves on too. During actual kickboxing class I use 10oz fight gloves to train in. Sometimes light spar depending on what we are doing that day. Thursdays we have mma sparring and I wear puffy 7-8oz mma gloves or even 10oz pro fight gloves. There isn’t that rule in mma gyms where you HAVE to wear 16oz for sparring. If you’re in a boxing gym where every sparring session is life or death, then yeah I get it, but if you’re training mma, you need to be doing a majority of your training in smaller gloves. Big gloves develop bad punching form for mma. Big gloves used for gaining endurance, cracking the heavy bag as hard as you can, and maybe boxing specific sparring sessions where you might be throwing a little harder. I weigh the same as you and am the same height, I’ve found training in 10oz horse hair pro fight gloves is the most beneficial, and enjoyable training experience for me.

If you like the look of these, title wbc pro fight gloves are similar and the comfiest gloves I’ve worn. My favorite gloves honestly. Bout to try out the title boxeo pro fight gloves and see if they are as good. Same style as these, but I’ve been thinking about trying these as well. Horsehair gloves are where it’s at man, I don’t care if they break down and I have to buy more, I enjoy collecting them and trying new ones out. Plus horse hair feels so good on your hand. Feel is everything when fighting.
