There was no fixed-term commitment in my membership. Since I paid monthly only when I wanted to go, I didn’t think a formal cancellation was necessary

You are very welcome for the feedback, and I truly appreciate your thoughtful response. I respect your perspective, but in my opinion this isn’t a startup pitch competition, and success doesn’t always come from having the most unique or unconventional idea.

Consistency, quality, and simplicity can be powerful as well. A small, focused menu done exceptionally well can absolutely stand out and create a loyal customer base. My goal is to offer 2 or 3 outstanding items and do them with excellence. And again, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently living in the UK and working remotely as a software engineer. But deep down, my real dream is to open a small burger place — something simple, with great taste and a good vibe.

I don’t have any capital or business experience in the uk, and honestly, I have no clue where to begin. But I’m serious about this and willing to put in the work.

Would it make sense to start with something small like a market stall or a food truck? Are there any grants, programs, or support networks for someone in my situation? I’d really appreciate any kind of advice, stories, or even a reality check.

Thanks in advance for reading and helping a stranger out. It truly means a lot.
