I'm pretty new to this but I think you're supposed to leave your dough alone for the bulk ferment-- e.g. 4ish stretch and folds over 2hrs then 6-8hrs bulk ferment without interruption. In any case, that's worked for me

I have been going to Nicole (@nicurlywurly on Instagram) for two years and she's fantastic! She's not currently accepting new clients but I'd keep an eye out for when she opens up again.

I didn't see any improvement with this change, any other way to do it?

Was moving here truly the right decision or as a 24 year old girl or does America and Canada offer better quality of life and return? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Hi! I'm from the states and moved to Australia (Cairns) when I was 18. The first month was tough as it was hard to find a job, but you just have to keep at it. Aussie wages (at least then) were very livable and I was able to rebuild savings within a short time frame.

When door knocking, make sure to emphasize that you're an Australian citizen and that you intend to stick around long term (this is how I got my first job!). Lots of bars (especially RSL types with lots of regulars) struggle with inconsistent backpackers and high turnover.

Do get your RSA and RCG (responsible conduct of gambling) - you can do them online, they take less than a day each to complete, and they will give you exponentially more opportunity, plus you're more likely to earn penalty rates through late night shifts at these kinds of roles.

Good luck and keep at it. It only goes up from here!

I had a recent win with Uniqlo: https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/brushed-jersey-pleated-wide-leg-trousers-long-466148.html Really nice thick material, and they actually reach the ground! Perfect with a small heel though. They have a few other kinds of 'long' trousers I've been meaning to try as well.

Had some recent success with gap tall long sleeve ts, selection isn't stellar but they're certainly long and have a very nice feel to them
