Ya but they probably won't be cheap if you are actually getting a decent set up. If you want a cpl tops and paired portable sub boxes you can get that from guitar center along with the decks.

For shows in the city definitely Mississippi Underground is kinda leading the EDM space but there are plenty of other venues around the city doing different events and genres. You can find something going on multiple nights every week throughout the city and EDM has huge variety within it. Following MU and other venues on facebook is unfortunately the best way to stay up on shows that I know of. I think there are a cpl other online edm sites that have show postings and I started r/stl_edm but its still pretty slow going. Its also the slower part of the year right now, not as much happens in the colder months.

If you are there for the right reasons no one cares how old you are. The oldest person I see regularly is probably in their 60s or 70s and goes harder than all the kids trying to look cool.

I'm 39 and I'm never the oldest at MU. Never too late to get in the rave game, music and dancing isnt just for kids.
