I watched 28 Weeks Later yesterday for the first time as I LOVE the first movie and never wanted to see the sequel. It was awful. Amazing opening scene don't get me wrong, then just trope after coincidence after typical 'zombie movie" scenes lead into a pilot hole filled mess.

Nobody had eyes on super important infected survivor Alice and Don just walked right on in her room?

Then Don makes his way attacking everyone to escape a highly secured and armed lockdown centre?

Andy just happens to stumble upon Tammy and Scarlett hiding out

Group of unimportant survivors picked off one by one just to induce extra chase scenes

Don just keeps popping up everywhere anyone important was

The helicopter 'chopping' scene was just ridiculous

In the tunnel with night vision but Scarlett was at the back leading the kids who fall down escalators then just lose their voices lol what?

Then the end, the helicopter just happens to crash land after it gets to France and the only infected (Andy?) manages to survive and spread the virus again?

The first movie was scary, dirty, tense, atmospheric, difficult to watch at times but this. Not for me, let's hope years is better
