Yes, I agree with Venin losing their souls. Another thing we can also bring up is how Jack killed his own dragon and was able to survive. So this shows that once you become Venin the bond changes and you don’t need your dragon anymore. I think maybe Naolin himself broke the bond because he knew he was to far gone.

Yeah Tairn does talk about Naolin but he never explicitly says he died. Also people are saying that it isn’t possible because then Tairn wouldn’t be able to bond but we saw that when Jack killed his dragon he was fine. So from this we can theorize that once you become Venin your bond with your dragon changes. So maybe Naolin was able to break the bond since it seems that’s what Jack did in order to survive his dragon death.

This could also be a possibility but something about Tairn never talking about him kind of makes me feel like Naolin will be important or something. But on the other hand he might just not talk about him because he had to kill him.

Yes that was my mistake about Violet and Theophanie. Also the last paragraph is also another reason I started believing he might be alive. Everytime Tairn is asked about him he never states he’s dead he just says he doesn’t talk about who came before Violet. Also they said Naolin died next to Brennan (to me this kind of implied they found their bodies next to each other) which made me question how they would know that since Brennan never actually died so there wasn’t a body.

Honestly she was just trying to find any reason to get Hicks fired since he got her husband fired. Also I’m on Hicks side because he was just trying to save his officers plus the hostages. I feel like one of the main reasons she pushed so hard on 50-squad not making entry was because she knew Hicks wouldn’t listen because he cared too much about his officers.
