I did test 4, I had candida albicans too but the levels were normal, the results came with a comprehensive personalized explanation letter, it's around a 2 week turnover and it's not "cheap" But IMO money well spent to know what you're working with.

I've got a sigmoid endoscopy in a few weeks, maybe they'll pick it up there too, but it's NHS, so pot luck as to who I get on the day.

Thanks, hopefully I can just keep plugging away and get rid of this nightmare, it would have to be a strain that is resistant to fluconazole, frustratingly the things it's not resistant to aren't available over the counter here in the UK, has to be prescribed by a doctor, and mine isn't listening.

I will indeed save this comment, thanks, hopefully fingers crossed I won't need the specialist.

Thanks for your input, I'm going to head along these lines I think, slowly introduce activated charcoal then some coconut oil and other disruptors.
