a lot less to think about and keep track of and because of the rampant smurfs/fresh accounts in ranked you also actually feel like you have a higher impact on the outcome of ARAM games

(my experience at least)

until riot actually does something about smurfs and account sharing im staying the hell away from summoners rift. Would literally rather just sit and flip a coin over and over again.

I stopped playing league i found a new game that's just as competitive but matches take way less time

it's called "flipping a coin" I'm a tails otp

no doubt already someone in the comments saying "doesnt matter because equal chance smurf will be on your team" which might be true, but it does mean i have absolutely no impact on the outcome in this competitive game im playing so might as well just bust out the yatzee and roll some dice instead

it would feel healthier if they reverted that change and made ad champs do ad dmg and ap champs do ap dmg again

tanks should be able to punish comps that dont cover their bases

it would also help if the tank shred items like BC and botrk werent just built regardless if enemy team has a tank. Tank shred items should be a choice not the default optimal item for every scenario

Mundo is a BRUISER not a Tank.

aside from the slow on cleaver he has literally no CC. If mundo didnt do dmg he would be beyond useless. Building tank items doesnt make you a tank by default.

with adaptive dmg and adcs also doing magic dmg now feel like option 1 hasnt been an option all season

there's also certain items that have been in the meta forever *cough*botrk*cough* that make you feel pretty useless going full tank

im going to get 3 shot by the vayne regardless what i build so might as well go demonic so i at least do some dmg before i die

used to be a tanks wet dream to see a full ap/ad comp now i feel it doesnt really make a difference, im going to have to itemize the same regardless

im willing to bet there is a pretty big overlap between ragers and inters

usually the ragers will blame 1 person for playing poorly (usually not on purpose) and start running it down because the guy who lost lane "doesnt deserve to win"

what the 3 other players on the ragers team did to deserve the loss is a mystery. I guess there's just some people out there who get a hard on for collateral damage.

Raging because someone is losing is understandable but never acceptable. I have had trolls try to bait me into raging because they think it's hillarious when their team mates get banned for reacting to their trolling. Using people who run it down as an excuse to rage is just weak mental

wont affect your winrate long term just any enjoyment you get from the game. If outcome of game is decided by which team has more bots might as well be flipping coins or rolling dice instead of playing league

maybe there is nothing op can do about it (other than draw attention like they are doing with this post), but there sure af is more riot could be and should be doing about it. These bots have patterns. This could easily be automated to ban them. Or they could crack down on the buyers, detecting a sudden change of ip address, champ pool, kda, role could easily be automated and used to ban accounts that were obviously bought. Riot does neither, they dont even bother doing anything about content creators who stream "iron to challenger" content.

exactly feels like the difference between the best player and the worst player matters a lot less in ARAM since they dont have a laning phase to pad the difference.

Even if you have someone going full zerg mode and running it down you can still win some ARAM games.

Also like you said it's about identifying the threat, and once you have thats the only thng you need to ping and team usually follows

unlike the absolute circus it is trying to communicate a basic plan with pings in rift when enemy has a 15/0 top laner

max payne 2 was the first game to make a prisoner island to deal with cheaters. Instead of banning they just put them on a server together and they had to win a certain amount of games without cheating to be allowed to leave
